total access state of the franchise

Looking at the Panthers and saying "hurf durf who's their QB" is more indicative of being a misinformed f**kwad (pre-req for being a national sports media figure) than a "non fan". Moore played a big part in dismantling a potential number one seed on national TV and then followed it up with one of the most thorough ass-kickings in the Giants' franchise history. None of that was mentioned; it was 90% Steve Smith and 10% "Panthers have some nobody at quarterback". Not that I expect anything other than extraordinary laziness out of 99% of the national media coverage of the Panthers.

yea we should leave this stuff alone. its only going to piss us off. during the year the "analysts" beat you over the head w/ stats. But when it counts, they throw them out the window. 2010 season is a wash its over. "we have nothing to look forward to" so guys lets just shut it down next year!

im not sure why i pain myself to watch that, saying they are giving the job to moore because he is tied to fox... and if he fails then they will clean house... this was the same network that spoke highly of moore 4 months ago

what were you watching 4 months ago??? I remember those same idiots all saying Moore isn't the answer and we need a veteran QB.

I hate the NFL network guys, they are all a bunch of haters and never give carolina any credit for anything, they swear like we make the playoffs by accident or something and that we have no talent, not to mention the dumbass that always has his stats wrong for us and just blabs about poo he knows nothing about. :mad2: we need new analists on NFL network

It is sad and James Duke is a idiot. Let's look at it this way. Moore will make Dukes eat his words. I truly believe the state of the Panther is well. We need help at the WR spot and some depth throughout the line up but as far as starters go. I think we are better off than alot of teams.

If we address, WR, DT, DE and possibly QB in the Draft I believe we will fill alot of our holes.

Go Panthers

i was hoping deion would be on, hes on the moore bus and knew he would be much more enlightened on the subject of the panthers, since last season he was saying moore would be the starter and goodbye delhomme

ditto! rich eisen too! rich is the man! he always knows his facts... well, i won't say always, cause he's only human.

i still think we're gonna do something crazy in the draft... either get a high 2nd rounder, or bottom half 1st rounder.. but still manage to keep our 2nd rounder. maybe trade our 3rd from this year, and a 1st and 4th rounder from next year for a 1st this year.

i dont even know why most of you even watch sportscenter or nfl network. if someone says something negative about the panthers they are idiots and dont know what they are talking about and our years of attending games and watching from our couches has made us better analysts than them or if they say something positive, they are the greatest ever and we always liked them and they have the pulse of the team!!!

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
