Much easier for Baldinger to talk sh*t about a over 30 yr old QB now than when he was in his prime. He couldnt say anthing when he took the Eagles to 5 NFC Championship Games and 1 Super Bowl.

I agree... Any QB who takes their team to that many NFC title games and a superbowl is not that overrated IMO.

Only a selected few has made it a habit of playing that late into the season. Also you can't credit his running game for all of his success... and until recently he's done it with below average receiving cores.

He has been very good in his time for the Eagles. Definitely underrated. But going to the Redskins and expected to be the savior at this point in his career?

I think his impact is overrated. Not that he's terrible, but he's not enough to turn them around. And with an idiot like Shanahan running the team, nobody will be enough.

Overrated or underrated, I'm not sure. But something I think most (outside of Philly) can agree on is that he's the most under-appreciated Qb in the league.

But you can credit an excellent veteran defense and veteran offensive line which McNabb has always had up until this past year.

I am not trying to bash Mcnabb here but I think you will be hard pressed to find many people (if any) currently within the Eagles organization (players/coaches) that are upset by the Eagles decision. Rumor has it there was an unofficial party of sorts in the Nova Care center (Eagles facility). Many people are relieved he is gone.

Sure he had nothing to do with them getting there in multiple consecutive years. He is a top 5 QB he's not Manning or Brady sure but Marino never won a SB either and is still considered one of the greatest ever.

McNabb always plays hard, studies hard, and is a great motivator for the team. I hate the Eagles but I think McNabb has been one of the most solid, reliable QBs in the league. I am sad that he may end his career with such a mismanaged team.
