I don't even wear my Panthers gear in public anymore. I low-key don't even claim them in public. When I go to the bar I'm usually pretending to be a Ravens fan.

This is my story and I'm sticking to it until further notice.

I know man.  I'm in the market for a new hat and I can't rep the Panthers gear right now.  It's embarrassing.

I wore my Wesley Walls jersey today. I love getting compliments on it. Plus, at least this was a competitive game.

You absolutely do not try to run the ball down the field in a two minute drill lol. And if you do, you might want to use some of your 3 timeouts? It worked ok against a 3rd string defense that was up by 9 points so it didn't matter to the defense but what the fug kinda mindset is that as the HC/OC. You should be trying to score quickly by passing and try an onside kick usually right?

I didn’t really have that many takeaways tonight, really wish we would have seen some starters or 2nd string guys instead of 3rd and 4th all night.

Anyways…

Good:

·       Team may not be much better than last year but has more “grit” it appears.

·       Dillon Johnson may make the team until Brooks is healthy (if they carry 4 RBs).

·       Still like Jamison and TJ Smith.

·       This pieced together OL of guys that have been here a few days looked better than whatever that was last week.

Bad:

·       WRs still struggle for separation.

·       Jack Plummer.. Just make Luton the #3 guy at this point.

Ugly:

·       It’s clear they know there is a depth problem by how much they are giving these guys reps and resting the starters.

·       Had Dillon Johnson not ran the ball like a crazy person the last two minutes, we still wouldn’t have a TD.

Nobody else is stepping up so yeah probably making the cut

I would assume anyone not dressed is making the team.  Why keep him out there on the sidelines if he's gonna be cut?  Plus, its not like any WRs are gonna make plays with Plummer out there for all the passing plays.

    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
