The FG did nothing they still need 2 TDs.

It's a 2 score game at worst. The FG still left them with a 2 score game. They playing conservative in a must win situation. I don't get it.

They're just trying to get into the locker room with the score manageable. They need something positive. They had a decent drive finally. Go for it and come up empty and it's like a kick in the balls. Your team is already reeling. You got a just get something positive. Now if you can get this stop here you have a chance to reply turn the momentum tide going into half time.

And just like that still a 2 TD game. Conservative coaching with a lesser team is just asking to lose this game. It is what it is.

Yeah, because going for it on 4th and 4 would totally change the fact that ND is just head and shoulders better. Probably the only difference would be that IU would have a goose egg on the scoreboard.

Irish are gonna blow the top off in the 2nd half.

I hope so. The IU HC out here taking timeouts second guessing himself as if he has the talent on defense to keep this game close. Clearly a talent gap you have to coach aggressive there is no tomorrow for Indiana. If you get blown out being aggressive at least you went down swinging.

I like how you just ignore that the result of them being aggressive on their first redzone trip was their shaky QB throwing a bad INT.

If their sixth year QB wasn't playing like a shook freshman backup unexpectedly forced into action they might be able to compete.

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
