How is the offense potent when you trashed their Oline earlier?

People still buying the Bengals contenders bandwagon. They have been bad for 2 straight years. Its time to move on from the hype.

Their OL is trash but their skill positions are LEGIT. God knows you should understand this concept having watched some of those offenses led by Cam playing behind a line of bums.

They've put up 33 tonight their D is just utterly inept and yet they're a missed FG and a missed penalty on a two point conversion away from a tied game despite this. They aren't good but they are dangerous.

Yeah they legit with a 0-3 record.

Burrow living off that SB run years ago. He wasn't even the best QB on the field tonight vs a Rookie!

Fug the Bitchgals we winning. Dalton era has begun!

Hard to say what will happen.  You never like to get a team coming off a loss but the Bengals have been bad so far this year.

I like our running game against their defense, but I don’t like their passing game against our defense.  We will need the pass rush to step up and probably 30+ out of the offense.

Not impossible but it will be a tall order.  I’m just glad we have watchable football where we can discuss this again.

Our D is much better then Wash D. Dalton is better then Daniels. We are going to win this game.

I just want to know what has happened to Trevor Lawrence? I haven't taken the field against him but I've watched him very up close in college standing on the field as he worked his magic for Clemson (fug the tigers by the way). He showed every trait and aspect a true generational talent at QB has and though it was taught to me for 4 years playing at my alma mater to hate that university, I still had to watch and respect his game each time I saw him on the field a few feet from me working his craft. I met him a few times post game and always found the guy to be a humble easy going friendly fella as well so it made it hard for me to hate him as I was brought up in college as a player to do with anyone with our rivals.

His first year was meh, his second he became the player I knew he would by admiring his gifts and abilities up close then last year he looked meh again but I was convinced it was because of a number of nagging injuries he suffered during the season. This season he is relatively healthy yet does not look like the top of the league can't miss generational QB that I knew he was in college. What is happening with Trevor?

    • I believe I just read somewhere that the Rams don't do Top 30 Visits. I mean, it makes sense from the standpoint of trying to keep information close to the vest.
    • I'm not sure 19 is too high for Rodriguez anymore.  He looks to be moving up boards, but it could be smokescreens.
    • I see XL this way---great athlete.  Good person.  When we drafted him, we knew he was raw.  One year of WR in college (starting) and in HS, he was a QB, I believe. We knew we would need patience with him.  I think year 3 will be make or break.  He is older, and I think that people with his athletic ability have always been better than those with less---but those with less can become more successful.  Why is that?  in my view, it is mental. XL can learn the mechanics and nuances of playing WR if he becomes focused on it and works at it.  I had the opportunity to talk to Armanti Edwards one day after OTAs (great guy) and he discussed how overwhelming it was.  He seemed shocked.  At that time, I knew that Fox hated the pick (I heard him mock Armanti to another coach when he saw Edwards drop a punt from a jugs machine--then I saw Armanti look back at Fox as if to suggest that he was feeling the pressure to please the coach. We forget that these are kids in their early 20s.  At the time, Fox was a lame duck.  Remember when he had Clausen as the #3 QB and was forced to move him up the ladder?  I liked Fox, but I think the climate and culture was influenced by the politics.  Currently, I see another Wr from SC who is struggling, but he is ina  very nurturing, positive culture. Let's see what happens with XL.  I am frustrated too---but XL was a second round talent who was raw and we traded up to get him.  He had 500 yards as a rookie--lets call 2025 a sophomore slump and see if we can't get at least 50 yards per game out of him.  If not, cut bait.
