Dan Hurley is really getting some humble pie shoved down his throat this year. Good to see. He's always seemed like a dick but after back to back championships and an absolutely dominant run last year it looked like he was gonna take over college basketball.

Four in a row. I'll take it. Better to be beating not very good teams than losing to not very good teams.

I mean, let's be real. We ain't competing for a championship this year so I'll just enjoy the wins and hope we keep improving. If Powell and Jackson come back next year could be interesting. If not, then it'll be another NIL/portal era crapshoot.

Oh fug. We beat four bad teams in a row and we do this...

Hubert is now signed through 2030. I sincerely hope this works out and he becomes a great coach but the guy's seat should've been warming up. An extension during a bad season after a disappointing finish last year is just completely unwarranted at this point.

*Edited to clarify that it was actually signed back in December, we have just had such a disappointing season that we had to wait until we could string together a few Ws for them to feel comfortably announcing it to the public. Oh wee mayne...

that was actually signed in December.

Specifically, Davis and athletic director Bubba Cunningham signed it on Dec. 4, the same day as UNC’s 15-point home loss to Alabama.

That what he's usually done up until this year. The dude can score.

Davis is a great college player but I don't think he has the size to be an NBA player. That said, I also wouldn't be surprised to see him get at least one NBA contract as a 3 and D guy coming off the bench because the NBA always wants scoring.

    • And again, the TLDR of the above is........ My expectations for T-Mac's rookie season have nothing to do with him and more because of my expectations for the rest of the WR room. I think his 2nd season when we then lose Thielen and replace him by just shifting everyone else up a spot in the pecking order and replace him with an end of the bench guy, is when he explodes for a huge yardage season. XL and Coker wouldn't make a good 1/2 combo with Thielen in the slot.  But T-Mac as the 1 with Thielen in the slot has the real potential to make XL/Coker an actual elite 2/4 combo.  Drafting T-Mac drastically changes the potential impact of those two, if anything, that's the biggest thing taking him did to the offense. Because honestly, how many teams have a 3rd and 4th receiving option as good as XL and Coker?
    • good one though it’s really no joke. I know a few friends and family members that suffer with this condition.
    • There's nothing normal about a 73 year old dating a 24 year old and a wildly successful NFL coach going to the college level in his twilight years is unprecedented. Yeah, raving success or absolute clown show. We'll see how it plays out on the field but this is why I was always very apprehensive about going after Belichick. The odds of it going the clown show route seem to be increasing by the day.
