No, give me Kurtis Rourke from Indiana. He’s led INDIANA to a 9-0 start, he leads the nation in QBR and he’s 6’5 230 lbs and can run. He’s not exactly Josh Allen but he is very, very close to it.

I’m not familiar with this guy, but what you and several others have posted has me intrigued. Rourke is not playing for a traditional NCAA power or a blue blood program. Yet, he’s putting up the numbers and winning games in a power 5 conference.  He’s appears to be the type of QB that can do more with less. Those kind of players seem able to adjust to the NFL and succeed. If their NFL team is weak at a couple of areas they just keep chugging along because they never played with stacked teams in their collegiate careers;  and they know how to put a team on their backs if they need to.

I’ll be keeping my eye on him for the rest of the season. I’d never heard of Brock Purdy until just before he was drafted. I asked a rabid college fan if there was a player who could be a late round steal for Carolina. He said keep your eye on Brock Purdy because he wins games and puts up solid numbers with less talented rosters week in and week out. We see how that has turned out for him and the 49ers.

He has the arm but I think will back to school

With NIL, juniors are less likely to declare.  If they are not projected as a first rounder and could be in a year, then why come out if you are already being paid in college?

Maybe one or two of the top underclassman QBs come out this year, the rest will return.  Milore might be the only one.

Oh yeah, I told y'all to pump the breaks on Carson Beck.  If dude can't produce at Georgia unless it's a way inferior opponent, imagine him on a horrible team...say, like the Panthers.

I get it, after dealing with a half-pint QB, we see a 6-4" signal caller and get all excited.  Dude is middling as it gets though.

    • On the surface all variables to be considered aside obviously I would love to have him. Situationally though this compares to when we acquired Stephon Gilmore. Ramsey will be 31 this fall and Gilmore was 31 when we acquired him. Ultimately it was a moot point because we weren't ready to compete for anything of note and Gilmore went elsewhere. Ultimately I see this playing out the same. As such I cannot envision any scenario where he does not go to a legit playoff contender.
    • Below average? Seriously?? That is wild AF My man we ain't watching the same game... And I'm hard-pressed to believe you're watching the same film coaches are either if that is the take you honestly believe... I've been to almost every home game at BOA over the past 20 years... I've seen a lot of bad QB play over the past 7 years. Anybody that wasn't truly impressed by what Bryce did what the cast-offs he had to work with at the end of last year is delusional. His top 3 weapons were a 34 undrafted guy, a 7th round journeyman, and an UDFA rookie... seriously, what are we doing here??!! Some of these takes are beyond outlandish... You admitted yourself you're comparing Bryce to a guy you didn't even watch but are cherry picking stats for... So go back to your eyeballs and make it simple... how much NFL football have you watched my man?? Bc to me and my eyeball test, Bryce blew it out of the effing water down the stretch. What QBs are you watching playing so much better than him that you feel confident in saying "below average?" If you watched that and came away with anything else, we ain't watching the same thing... But beyond the eyeball test, every advanced metric in the book backs it up also... so again, what are you seeing that no one else is?? You think just anybody is going out there and dueling with Mahomes & Hurts with an almost comical inferior supporting cast and doing that? Whatever, to each their own, but it is wild to pull for a team where so many people feel compelled to crap on your QB after he just pulled maybe the greatest in-season turn around in league history and was playing by any eyeball test (for anyone that has watched an appreciable amount of NFL football) or even the advanced metrics for that matter.
    • You don't talk about TMac's QB that way!
