Too Early to make Superbowl Predictions?

Is it? Cause I'm bored waiting for the draft, & I just had a feeling on who will be in the SB this year.

Now, this is in no way backed up by extensive thought, theories, or explanations.

Jets vs. Panthers, Panthers win.

I don't know about the Jets but we are more in line to play Detroit in the toilet bowl at this point. That is if we improve from where we are right now, LOL.

If Sanchez has a step backwards and has a sophomore slump....he will probably be on par w/ the 2009 Jake. Sanchez at points was pretty bad, Jets were lucky to get that far last year. The team itself is awesome....but we know the impact of one man....I actually don't like the Jets as much as some.

I think they are a playoff team....I just don't trust Sanchez in year 2. Too many unknowns, if forced I'd go Colts/Saints.

i'd never bet against the colts. they make things happen every year regardless of what their team is like. manning is a one man team. there are lots of teams that could make it. predictions are no better than wild guesses. it goes to whichever team shows up to play in the playoffs that day. it largely depends on unpredictable things like turnovers, big plays down the field due to blown coverages, and missed field goals.

The draft hasn't even started yet.. and were making SB predictions......

you think a draft pick is gonna have an effect on who is in the SB?

Who in the draft is going to do that? Or are you counting on other moves/trades to have an impact.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
