Boy am I glad we don't have Jacksonville's front office...

Not only do you give up almost your entire draft for one of the biggest busts of all times a couple of years ago (Harvey) but now you take a 2nd round player when the best defensive lineman, a highly ranked QB, and all sorts of other gems are sitting there on the board... and you don't have a second rounder...

And they didn't draft hometown hero The Golden Calf of Bristol!

I would've thought about drafting him just to save the poor franchise. I fell bad for them because they came in with us... Almost meet them in the Superbowl early in the teams history...

This is not going to get their fans excited, and bring them to the game... Well Great draft for the city of LA... Jax is getting closer to moving IMO.

i head they tried but they couldn't find a trading partner. still sucks to be them.

i like alualu a whole lot but in the 2nd round. at #10? lol.

who knows? maybe he'll be worth it. i just think it was a panic pick.

i wonder if the LA jaguars FO will be smarter.

Rofl.

btw....denver might be fighting them for dumb moves. mckid is going to be getting canned before too long.

If they end up being contenders he will be a hero, but as it stands right now he has literally driven that team into the ground.

They can try and sell that poo to the city of Jacksonville if they want... The truth is if they wanted to move up they could've. Everyone else moved up yesterday... They just didn't want to part ways with what was needed to do it.

It really does suck because the jags have been pretty consistent, They are just unfortunate to be stuck with Indy in their division.

So when the team moves to LA, will we have changes to some of the divisions?? Maybe the Stl Rams to the AFC North, and LA to the NFC West???

Denvers trade for The Golden Calf of Bristol was worse than this. 2nd 3rd and 4th round pick to move up how many spots? lol

The trade itself really was not that bad.....

To move up 18 spots from (43) to (25) And they only gave up a third round pick

They switched spots in the forth round with the (119) and (114) pick, so they just moved back 5 spots.

"This is not a popularity contest,'' Smith told Peter King of SI.com. "I don't give a damn about perception. I care about picking the right player for our team. My attitude is, 'You can outsmart people some of the time, but you can outwork them all of the time.' If you can't trust your ability to judge players after all the work you put in on them, you shouldn't be in this business.''

    • I don't necessarily think he will be moved, I would currently be leaning against that notion. I think a lot will depend on the coaching situation. Carroll certainly can't be thinking about wanting to go through a serious strip down and overhaul, so the longer he plans to remain, the less likely I think Crosby gets moved.
    • I think everyone says Mike Evans because of size, but really they have different strengths and play styles.  Tmac is better on intermediate routes and not nearly as good at contested catches.
    • At this point, it is criminal to go into the 2026 training camp/OTA's with XL penciled in as a #2 WR. The team must upgrade, either through free agency or the draft. If he cannot give 100% effort on significantly less snaps as a #4-6 WR(players like Tremayne have done that consistently) then I don't think you have a player worth rostering beyond the trade deadline. Offensively, we eventually have to upgrade to an NFL starting caliber C. It's been almost the length of time from Gross to Ikey since Kalil retired and we have below average to terrible C play. Love Mays as a BC-esque utility backup but he will never be an above average long term starting C.  The TE room is one of the worst in the NFL but it's a low usage position in this offense, so the investments are likely to be small, if any. I would never expect to see an elite TE in a Dave Canales offense. 100% agree on OL depth. We actually aren't bad there but BC will be gone, Mays is a UFA, Corbett is a UFA and Zavala has been both injured and bad. We have to bolster that depth again or resign guys like Mays and Corbett to keep that depth somewhat stable.
