What am i missing about moore?

The biggest thing with Moore is that he's never had to be THE GUY when there was anything on the line. When he came in at the end of 2007 and 2009, we were already eliminated from the playoffs. There was absolutely no pressure on him. And I think that fit in with his lackadaisical persona. Could he mimic his play when there's nothing riding on how well he plays at the START of a season, when he IS that guy? I don't know.

Clearly neither does John Fox.

Look i know we go by bpa BUT what am i missing about moore he did beat good playoff teams last year he did torch the giants and vikings right?

HE SHOULD BE HE FUTURE

You do realize that the Giants were an absolute train wreck at the end of the season. I like the Minn game, but they were sttruggling for the three games around our game.

Moore showed some good things in limited play. However, he is not a seasoned vet and has not proven that he is the future franchise QB.

Clausen was just too good of a player and value to pass up. It was not even a close call to make.

Why wouldn't we want 2 starting quality quarterbacks. I guess it has been so long long since we had more one that decent guy at a time that we can't handle having a bunch of them. Seems to me that we have finally gotten what we wanted.

Moore is going to be the starter although I can imagine he isn't sleeping too well tonight.

It was Clear last year John Fox was not gonna give Moore the chance to save the season ether. Delhomme was allowed to ruin it when it was clear he was done.

I won't argue that Fox was too loyal to Jake.

But he barely knows Clausen, and he was trying to trade our first next year to get him. What does that say about Moore in general?

that's he's on a one year RFA contract?

The better question is what dose that say about Fox in general. Moore has numbers to back up his argument.

    • Thank you Chuba for being a great team player. He could have said I am the starter and really messed this team up. Chuba is a great teammate and understanding what is best for the team. Chuba will have his time, we will have a point that we need Chuba
    • He has 8 more games, for me. And that is 8 more than he deserves for what he has shown over 2.5 years.  But he has them and we will see if he can do anything with them.
    • Bryce did exactly what was needed of him That INT was bad. A wobbler the wind then took as well. Ugly. But other than that he did what he needed to do especially when we needed it the most  Game plan similar to Falcons. Neutralize the pass rush. Run the ball. Get ball out quick. Bryce extended multiple plays and picked up a couple firsts with his legs.  Maybe if we had a coach that understood this simple philosophy when playing against a team with a real good pass rush we’d have won the SB in 2015
