Panthers depth chart

41 drafted by the Panthers. That has to be near the top of the NFL...

Yea, I'd say so. The Ravens and Patriots being up there as well. That has to be the highest total number though.

A few interesting things on the DC though.

We All know that Cantwell wont walk out of camp the number 2...So putting him on there now is interesting. Few other spots as well.

Mortty Ivy isnt a MLB. Gettis wont be that far down the chart. The coaches have already said Anderson will compete with Connor for SLB. And I doubt the 6th rounder Pugh will stay on the roster as the 3rd string FS. More likely Martin will be worked at corner, but will play FS if Godfrey gets hurt. Otherwise Pugh was a wasted pick. The depth chart isn't even up yet on panthers.com. This is just another person's version.

That depth chart has Dwayne Jarrett way, way too high. I'll be shocked if he's here for the first game of the regular season.

there is no one to put above him....except for guys who we thought the exact same thing we thought of Jarrett when he came out.

Wait, I get it. Kasay was originally signed as an unrestricted free agent. Ok. I'm thick sometimes.

.....seriously, only two guys signed as outright free agents, one who's been on the team since the beggining and the other who became a free agent from our team in the first place?

This no drinking/no smoking sh*t is making me dumb, I swear to God.

    • I think starting this week you gotta work in Tremayne out there.   You don't got to bench XL but Tremayne just seems to be clearly a better WR at this stage (despite XL having the physical tools).   I think waiting on Coker is malpractice.
    • I don't like much about this team BUT WE ARE GONNA WIN THIS THING BABY LETS GOOOOOOO
    • I agree completely.  I’m not absolving XL of his errors and shortcomings, but week 2 was definitely less an issue with him as it was QB and coaching/scheme.     It’s becoming abundantly clear, not just with XL, but with everyone on the offense, our coaches are not crafting a game plan to play to their players’ strengths, but rather they’re creating a game plan and then trying to fit guys into it where each position is treating each player as interchangeable and they’re not.  The breakdown I watched also discussed how no one expected XL to be destroying people with his route running coming out - that would have to be refined.  So, the poo we’re seeing, we can’t really blame him for.  He has gotten open enough often, but the passes are often off-target.  And he would likely excel more as a guy who can threaten with the deep ball to take the top off the defense, but we don’t have a QB that can throw that pass.
