the only thing I might could see them struggling at is their CB's.

I really do think we'll go 4-0.

me too.

mainly because there are several positions with open competitions, so we'll likely be playing our 'starters' a lot more than other teams will lol

+ our backup QB is Clausen, a step above most other teams backups

Yeah, I'm calling the Ravens as the champs too. I'm also calling Rice out as top fantasy stud this year over AP and CJ. Rice could have 2300+ total yards this year. (over 2000 last year, 1339 and 702) i look for him to repeat the rushing yardage, and with defenses following bolden downfield, i see him extending his short recieving game further downfield to top 1000 yards receiving! this kid is a beast!)

If Brett Favre comes back, you really think Ravens offense would be better?

Colts offense in the mix as always also..

Not to bash the thread or anything but Personally I could give two shits about preseason. Teams like the colts rarely do well in the preseason and i don't even like the preseason b/c of Beason's injury scared the fug out of me last year.... With that being said we should start people like C.J. Wilson at QB and Jason Baker at left tackle? Any thoughts?

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
