As much as I'd love to gamble on his athletic profile. Our team has been garbage at developing the raw physical freaks can we just start drafting good football players that don't have such a steep learning curve

And define "worked" - I like Shaq and all, but he wasn't exactly a great player in the NFL.  For a first round pick I would say he underachieved and never really lived up to the hype.

This is just ridiculous, I would understand if you inferred he could be used as a wildcat QB or Cordarell Patterson type scat RB. But what are you even talking about? Abdul Carter makes zero sense as a comparison, he has been a defensive player his entire career and also was put on pass rush situations many times prior to fully switching to DE.  Switching players from offense to defense or vice versa never happens, unless your a Travis Hunter who has proven that at the collegiate level on both sides. He wouldn’t just be learning how to play OLB he would be learning the basics of tackling, pursuit angles etc that you learn while being a defender for years. On top of the fact he’s a projected day 2 wr, why would he switch or how would a team get value back?
