Good Action Movies

Anything with Steven Segal.......

j/k if you've seen one Segal movie, you've seen 'em all. :D

What type of action genre? Me, I like just about anything by Akira Kurosawa. Lots of spectacle and he usually tells a good story. Check out "Ran" it's his version of the King Lear story.

Another favorite director is Stanley Kubrick. My fav from him is "Clockwork Orange"

For lots of blood and bullets, check out some of the early Ahnold movies like Commando and Predator.

Being that you are young, you might want to check out some of the older ones from the 70's and 80's or ask a video clerk what is good, they usually know.

Happy viewing...

There hasn't been a nonstop action flick like the Crank series ever... before or since...

You should be more pissed about the guy suggesting the John Travolta movie... What a joke..

You're right. There hasn't been a movie with nonstop bad acting like the Crank series in awhile. It's so bad I had to comment.

crank was great, crank 2 sucked and from paris with love was f*cking turrible.

Watch Ronin, Taken, the director's cut of Payback, the Pusher trilogy, Ong Bok the Thai Warrior or any of what PanthaSan recommended. Kurosawa is f*cking great.

    • Lions were never going Freeling over Miller for the same reason we wouldn't have taken Miller had Freeling not been on the board. Miller is a career RT Lions have a hole at RT, we have a hole at LT. If we took Miller, it would have been for him to backup Moton until he retires and/or we release him, so the best case scenario is it would have been a wasted 1st round pick for at least 1, if not 2 years.  At least Freeling has a shot at playing this year without injury ahead of him, he absolutely can win the LT job if he earns it, but Miller would have never supplanted Moton this year unless he got hurt.
    • What up y’all. I like threads like this where we can stroll down memory lane. I remember the insane amount of site traffic pre-crash when we signed Keyshawn Johnson, 06 I believe. Raging about the Cowboys Christmas Eve loss in 05 (Peppers touched that FG attempt as sure as Cotchery caught it). When I found the huddle I basically had a first born baby, now I’ve got one in college and one in high school. Life comes at you fast, but the Panthers and the Huddle has been a steady constant in my life for many years.  Those who have been here, y’all are cool with me any time any where.    Cheers, genitals!
    • This is a weird post since it wasn’t like we got A’s across the board. We needed a QB and got a consensus top 2 player at that position. (I was pretty vocal that Stroud should’ve been the guy but…)  I think this draft we generally got better value. I’m not particularly optimistic on BY but another year in this offense playing with TMac he really needs to be a consistently average QB at a minimum
