Peppers denied it too...so is Mr. Hardy more trustworthy than Pep? And for the record Peppers was our best defensive lineman ever...his stats and pro bowl selections bear that out. And I never subscribed to the theory that Pep took plays off and never will. Either way, I hope Hardy pans out and I can't wait for the Panthers fan base to turn on him as well. Fun for all.

hardy will be a good player for you guys but he won't be like peppers. you don't go from being the 3rd best DL on your team to being an all-pro talent.

Bullshit I have always said Peppers was not giving his all so dont even come with that crap. The fact was he was the most talented not the best. He got shut down most games by a TE and Beason had to call him out before he even showed signs of life. The only game he was our best DE was the Vikings game. The rest of the time he was hurting the team by not trying.
