Cable problem..

So I went and got a new cable box.

Last night I notice I have Cinemax, Starz, and some other channels that I don't pay for.

Do I, go to TWC today and work it out.

We had free HBo for about 6 years until we had to go to digital.

They cannot charge you for something you never ordered. It's possible that they are giving it to you for free for a while and then ask you to pay to continue to get it.

If it's a digital box, it probably came with it for 3 months. They'll start charging you afterwards if you don't call and cancel.

Well, they screwed up somewhere and their consequence is giving away these channels until they figure it out.

Most times when hooking up new service you will get their entire channel lineup for a day or 2. If you are at a moral dilemma, then call and let them know. If you are like me, and dont mind getting something for nothing with zero consequence, let it ride. Zcustom is right, its their screwup...

If they reprogrammed your box and turned it off, you wouldn't order it anyhow right?

If no, then I'd let it ride. It's not your fault they gave you a box that had content programmed for it that you didn't ask for. The data is being sent to your box regardless, so it's not like it's costing them anything to allow you to see it.
