clausen should be the starter

The thing with jimmy is that he is a fresh face, he is either gonna be matt ryan good, jason campbell mediocre, or brady quinn bust......

So what you're saying is that Jimmy clausen will be a quarterback of some sort...

Fuging trolls.

I do not like matt whatsoever, people pretend like this guy was hidden from view, that he didn't play any preseason before his stint late last season, say what you want to say but when your best winning streak is against terrible teams, the b squad of the saints, and a favre chokejob then you haven't won the starting job, seriously I have not missed a game in person and tv and nothing about him impresses me. The thing with jimmy is that he is a fresh face, he is either gonna be matt ryan good, jason campbell mediocre, or brady quinn bust........I rather take my chances, with clausen, something new, good college player qb, I rather go 5 and 11 and know he is a mediocre instead of a 7 and 9 moore average season with no chance of improving, that way we know what the future priority should be and the future is not moore.

You just hate Mooore because he's black.

I disagree. I dont want Clausen starting this year for us. Even if Matt Moore doesn't work out for us I still think siting Clausen on the bench and let him take a year to learn the game. It worked out perfect for Carson Palmer. If you start a rookie qb and he is on a bad team then it could hurt the kids confidence and make him have learn bad habbits thus being a bust. Look at 1st round qbs that have came from the Browns, Lions, and Raiders and Texans. They never amounted to anything because they had a horrible team with a bad O line and bad coaching thus the qb never learned how to be succesful and they never became anything more than bust.

While I agree that sitting Clausen for a year would probably be in his best interest, if he got the start I don't think it would lead to future problems.

Unlike those teams that you listed we have a great OL, an awesome running attack, an elite WR, and some decent pass catching TE's.

There is a lot for Clausen to work with here. I don't think that he would be scarred by starting his first year in Carolina.

I respect your opinion, what I can glean of it, at least... but you're an idiot. I will give you that Moore's time came the last 4 games of the season and in some cases against teams that didn't have a lot to play for. I'll add to that that the other team's defenses and coordinators alike didn't really know what they were getting Matt. Now they're going to have an idea and I'm very interested in seeing how he plays once teams have some real tape on him. That's going to determine his pass or fail... and Clausen will be waiting.

But,bottom line greensblahblahblah, what you're saying is just dumb. Work on that.
