...Anybody else really not that excited (yet) about the upcoming season?

Awesomeness!!

Defense is younger

Meeks gets to mold the youth into his system and not have to change old habits.

All the DT's signed last season will be all healthy at the same time.

I Love a young aggresive defense with lots to prove.

Offense

O -line is healthy

Stewart & Williams are healthy

Moore throws a better ball than Jake ever did

Smith once healthy should have a big season

And all the young WR's

Again Young guys try harder ,they have more to prove

This should be the best training camp in a long time

Lots of questions to get answers

very young team with a lot of new faces and a new energy. a lot of speed....man, i'm more excited about this season than i have been for a long time. when we get a new coach the excitement level is going to be a lot greater but it's still really high right now.

change is good.

Yeah, no excitement here. I mean, it's so awesome to revel in the sports world of right now where there are breathtaking sporting events like the Tour De France, the NBA summer league, and of course the greatness that is July baseball. Only 75 games or so left in the MLB regular season!!1

    • You do realize that was in reference to David Moore? I don't think you're necessarily trying to be overly sarcastic, but I would classify Renfrow as above average under normal circumstances. He'll never be great, but he's the sneaky chain-mover that performs a certain function consistently well.
    • Synchronicity is the key. And it is a frikkin' hard key to get. The teams that have/develop it, win and win big: Chiefs, Eagles, Lions (can you believe I'm saying that?), Bills, Ravens. Teams that only get one or the other going successfully peak at being competitive but sputter out in a couple of seasons... it just can't hold together. And what happens when you have neither one working? I give you the last half decade of the Carolina Panthers.
    • You need both. For all the poo game plans and bad game day management you had both under Rivera. From those all or nothing videos it was clear to me he had command of the locker room but gave the players who deserved it the power to lead. The problem now is we don't have  any Olsen, cam, Luke, TD's who have earned that right to lead. Maybe Brown but that's it.
