It seems like in the last year I've been growing fonder and fonder of them.

My feet don't get cold or clammy

My feet don't sweat if I'm wearing the rubbery kind

I can pop my toes without having to take off my shoes

Then of courses there is the usual benefits of sandals, easy to take on and off etc.

I've never worn the really high socks with them unless I was wearing some pants. I also haven't done it much in public. Mostly did it during late night study sessions exam week, movies, or a quiet lunch/dinner.

I'm probably too young for this but I can't deny it. It's very comfortable and convenient.

I hate it. It just looks...eh to me.

But let me clarify how I differentiate flip-flops and sandals.

Flip flops have the band that connects to the bottom of the shoe that separates your big toe from the rest of the toes (which, to me, is discrimination).

Sandals are just the band that goes over the top and you kind of just, slip your foot in.

Most people I see wear socks with flip-flops. I fuggen hate that. With sandals, I have been guilty. Mainly for all the reasons/circumstances that you stated in the OP (around the house, exam week, etc). Although, currently, I do not own sandals.

This is way to long. For your time, have some pie.

    • I simply acknowledge BY is the QB.  And just like we did when we drafted him.....the type O you would need to setup around him for success was always pretty simple.  But we have done virtually the opposite.  XL dropping some passes isn't why we were ranked the 32nd O and 30th passing the past 2 years.  *Ricky Prohel was brought up only in regards to role function he served on the team.  Niche/specialist.   He wasn't eating up the snaps in the O.    AT should have a similar snap %. People could MAUL Ricky Prohel and put hands all over him.   We got to the Super Bowl in part because we were mauling guys (our slot CB).   You can't do that now.  AT has a MUCH easier life and still can't get open.  Or run.    If you live in 3 WR sets, with a weak armed QB, and you choose to put someone who can't get open or run in the slot.......well, your are going to have a weak pass O.  That's by design IMO.
    • Thielen's yards per reception was higher last year than any of Renfrows career.  His per game productivity last year as an old slow receiver the same as Renfrows 1 good season. These things are easy to find.
    • With 1 more game but yeah hopefully Canales is better, obviously Rhule sucked. Better than Reich though and jury out on DC. Of course Wilks’ interim stint was the best we’ve had since 2017 but I give Tepper zero credit for that
