Funny you should bring this up. I'm starting a new venture of buying US coins. I have been wondering at how to market it.

I just sold some foreign bills on ebay. I had no idea what they were worth.

I did look up one. I had a 1,000 Lire bill! I got all excited until I realized that; A) Italy switched to the Euro, 1,000 lire is/was worth about 67 cents US!

I was going through things at my grandma's who just passed away and found a 1894 gold ten dollar coin. Haven't checked into its value yet but it must be worth something.

Somewhere, I have a bag full of foreign Currency. Spanish Pesatas, filipino peso's, Turkish and Italian Lira, Israeli Shekels, Bahraini dinar, British and Egyptian Pounds, along with French Franc's, German Marc's and whatever Bulgaria uses. Basically leftovers from various nations I visited while I was in the Navy. None of it is worth selling I think.

Take a look at our website. We are about to go live with it. Do you think we ought to add articles on coins? What does it need? Is it a total snoozer? Does it need dancing girls across the screen? (BTW, Not going to happen.) It needs something, but I can't put my finger on it.
