I'll be watching the defensive line rotation in the first half.

I want to see what C. Johnson, Brayton, and E. Brown bring to the table in thier limited minutes.

I'm also curious about our secondary depth. Munnerlyn, and the dime back?

Of course the QB play on offense and Barnidge.

Interested to see Lafell and Moore at work along with Trent Guy.

I cant wait to see our young DE's.

Why wont we see much of Goodson?

Last year we absolutely looked horrific in preseason games, hopefully we can show a little bit of offensive power and show that we can look like a NFL Carolina Panthers team, instead of the North Carolina Tar Heels.

goodson's injured, won't play till the 3rd preseason game probably. pulled a hamstring i'm pretty sure, i could be wrong though.

and i'll mostly be focusing in on our passing game and our run D, as those were the 2 places that we struggled the most at last season... as well as our special teams, but our special teams will have a bunch of guys out there that i've never seen before, so it'll be interesting. i also wanna give a little attention to the linebackers and how the 2's do, because last year we had mad depth there, but not so much this season. so i wanna see how our backups are.

Its less than a week away finally! I've been waiting for this since february. Footballs about to start! I'm so ready to watch the panthers play! People talk about we'll be a mediocore team, but if you aske me the offense is upgraded since last year... they'll be the same if not better than last year. The defense is the big question but they played good towards the end of last year. Secondary and Linebackers will be fine... Beason playing the Tampa 2 in the same position Derrek Brooks played in he's liable to have his best year... Conners will be fine in the middle and Anderson has played well for us in the past and has great speed... The Defenive line... is the only concer but Brayton was there last year so no change... Johnson has always shown flashes, cant wait to see him in there for and entire game. Hardy I think will be very effective and take Braytons spot towards the end of this year or next. The Defensive Tackles the big concer with the Defensive Line... Tyler and Leonard nobody know for sure how'll they'll pan out for us. I have hopes that they'll make a name for theirselve playing in the 4-3 again. I think we'll be a 10-6 team this year, it helps we have an easy schedule too.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
