I liked him a lot. He made some of the most clutch plays I've ever seen. I loved the leadership. He always had you on your toes and the game seemed to be like it was on the line with 1 play. You could make the argument that was a testament to how good or how mediocre he was. In 08 I never worried, no matter how close the game got because Jake and Smith would find a way to seal the deal, save the 09 Cardinal playoff game.

However I do put a lot of blame on him for the 09 season, that team could have gone far. He should have benched himself, just my opinion. If I knew I was holding the team back I would have.

I love Jake. Everything about his attitude and the way he played the game is the best that sports has to offer. He played the game the way it should be played. I will miss him so much this year.

He's a good guy. Maybe he'll bring something special to Cleveland (wouldn't it be funny if he filled Lebron's shoes).

But his mental mistakes at the end squandered an opportunity to get another shot at the big game. I lay the Arizona game and 2009 at his feet. I can forgive him for this, and have. But I will probably never forget it.
