They should have used Jake Delhomme for this...

I was actually in Arizona on a buisiness trip and had no choice but to watch the game at a local Tucson sports bar..... it was just as agrivating having nothing but cardinal fans around you. I feel your pain.

Felt the same way. Tailgated all day, really excited to see out first home playoff game since 2003. Especially after we scored the first touchdown so easily. I had no idea that would be the last points we scored until late. I can honestly say that was the most disappointed I have been watching us play since we lost the Superbowl.

Weird how this thread turned into a group therapy session about the Arizona playoff game. Sounds like yall were raped.

Honestly though that game was so bad I turned off my TV about 5 mins into the 2nd half, turned of my cellphone, looked over at my girlfriend at the time and said alright honey, I guess I will come to that party with you afterall.

I never cared for her friends much but it really made me appreciate being in California sorrounded by a bunch of people who didn't care about football.

I didn't want to watch or hear anything about football for about two whole weeks after that though.

I got a CBS seat on the front row of the press box that night because somebody did not show up..would have been on field otherwise.

You wanna talk about a great seat..wow.

A truly miserable weekend capped off with floor seats for Wake Forest beating UNC the following evening.

Even the comedic genius of Dave cannot ease the pain I still harbor for that weekend of sports.

    • The Bucs waived shilo sanders after he got ejected.
    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
