Ok, I've been a fan since inception in 93, so I spend a good deal of money to buy tickets, to go to my very first Panther game ever, to watch what I consider the absolute largest ass-whooping we've ever received, to sit there stunned and amazed that my team could play so shitty - pick, after pick, after pick, after pick - to ride back home an hour and half listening to the the guy who drove us there's sports radio talk again how shitty the team played, ESPECIALLY DELHOMME, dejected and emotionally drained from the day and just ready to forget about football for about 3 months.

And you want me to be kind and play nice about all this? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? GTFO lady... and get real. The team sucked... flat out sucked that night. You want a fanbase to better behave? Show us that you can do more than go out and give a half-hearted effort. Jake killed the entire team.. but they started flat - JUST LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO IN BIG GAMES THEY NEED TO WIN!

Not sure why, but it's fuging irritating as a fan to watch em be so lackadaisical. Sorry for all the caps guys, but this poo has pissed me off... which honestly, is usually quite difficult to do.

Get over it.

That's exactly what venting about the game does for people - it helps some people get over it. And if it makes them feel better, then let them vent all they want.

Ok.. so we should be kind and respectful of the players and coaches feelings, but you should tell people not to have any of their own. Gotcha!

exactly... we pay good money for these things and all we want is for our team to play the game it is supposed to be played and not quit after going down 14-7. It's like paying for a service; if you pay good money you want the best possible service in return, not some cheap, half assed crap that was on display Saturday night at 800 South Mint Street.

And for the amount of money some people paid to watch that garbage, they have every right to bitch and complain. Not doing so would be almost un-American.

      lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.

      I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.

      As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
