So I was bored and started fooling around on Wikipedia and I started thinking about which Panthers Draft class was the best and I wanted to get everyone's opinion. Which draft class has made the biggest impact on the team? I left off the 2009 and 2010 class because they haven't had enough time to prove themselves.

1995- Kerry Collins • Tyrone Poole • Blake Brockermeyer • Shawn King • Frank Garcia • Mike Senters • Andrew Peterson • Steve Strahan • Jerry Colquitt • Chad Cota • Michael Reed

1996-Tim Biakabutuka • Muhsin Muhammad • Winslow Oliver • J. C. Price • Norberto Davidds-Garrido • Emmanuel McDaniel • Marquette Smith • Scott Greene • Donnell Baker • Kerry Hicks

1997- Rae Carruth • Mike Minter • Kinnon Tatum • Tarek Saleh • Matt Finkes • Kris Mangum

1998- Jason Peter • Chuck Wiley • Mitch Marrow • Donald Hayes • Jerry Jensen • Damien Richardson • Vili Maumau • Jim Turner

1999-Chris Terry • Mike Rucker • Hannibal Navies • Robert Daniel • Tony Booth

2000-Rashard Anderson • Deon Grant • Leander Jordan • Alvin McKinley • Gillis Wilson • Jeno James • Lester Towns

2001-Dan Morgan • Kris Jenkins • Steve Smith • Chris Weinke • Jarrod Cooper • Dee Brown • Louis Williams • Mike Roberg

2002-Julius Peppers • DeShaun Foster • Will Witherspoon • Dante Wesley • Randy Fasani • Kyle Johnson • Keith Heinrich • Pete Campion • Brad Franklin

2003-Jordan Gross • Bruce Nelson • Mike Seidman • Ricky Manning • Colin Branch • Kindal Moorehead • Walter Young • Casey Moore

2004-Chris Gamble • Keary Colbert • Travelle Wharton • Drew Carter • Sean Tufts • Michael Gaines

2007-Jon Beason • Dwayne Jarrett • Ryan Kalil • Charles Johnson • Ryne Robinson • Dante Rosario • Tim Shaw • C.J. Wilson

With Dan Morgan (minus concussions), Kris Jenkins (minus the off the field stuff) and Smitty 2001 is probably the best in my eyes...even if they were brought down by the Heisman winner Weinke.

2002 has it's strong points, but if everyone keeps playing at potential 2008 could take the cake in a few years.

The problem is that Morgan DID have those concussions, and Jenkins DID have the attitude and injuries.

2008 is probably the best, but I kind of think 2007 is something special. Beason, Kalil, Johnson, and Rosario are all very good.

It is still early, but I would have to say 08. 06 is pretty damn good too though. 4 starters right now from that draft class. Looking at this really puts it into prospective. We have not missed on a first round pick in a long time, and we have a lot of late rounders who ended up being pretty good players. 03 and 05 minus the first round are pretty bad though. I know some like Ricky Manning had flashes of greatness, but looking at the big picture, overall not good drafts those 2 years.
