Nope... I feel like what separates the NFL from other sports is that football only has a finite amount of games and everyone counts. With more games its going to be more injuries more meaningless games.

Think last season dragged on forever? Imagine two extra games of that torture...

The best scenario in my opinion: 3 preseason games at a vastly reduced ticket price. 16 regular season games. Let's face it, we need the preseason to work out some kinks, but four is too many, and two seems like too few.

See I don't think the roster size really has anything to do with it. If you move to a 60-65 man roster its not like teams will all of a sudden start playing scrubs during games. The same starters are going to be playing 18 games instead of 16 so they are the ones getting beat up more. The only thing a larger roster might add is some fresh legs on special teams but the marquee guys are going to be taking more punishment regardless.

    • For a 3rd year QB? That flies with the Teppers and makes the HC and GM look like fools.  Their fear is evident. Their careers are tied to making it work, it's ehy they signed on here and they are professionals who knows what kind of a situation they could potentially have on their hands if they are not calculating about popping up Bryce. I call BS to that sir. It's why every QB after Bryce couldn't make any other rosters past a PS spot...at best
    • Not just Dalton.   But the only real young arm they would let be seen the past 2 years was a really a bad Jack Plummer.  Who was super weak even for that tier  Can’t convince me how weak they made the atmosphere around Young hasn’t been intentional.
    • Things of note: mentions he has six drops. Six. For all the people that don’t know what a drop is, he has six. That’s a long distance from the league leader at ten. (To be fair, pro football reference has him at seven, still not bad.  Plenty of others is that same range.  His drop % is 6.3, which is low.) Catchable ball success ratio: 83% which is great. Catchable being the key word.  Mentions his contested catch rate is low at 5/18 but that’ll get better I think when he can rely on muscle memory for routes, catches, etc and the game slows down for him
