Wallace Wright is suppose to be a good special teams player, so I wouldn't say we don't care at all about him. But he is not integral to the offense.

actually wright was a free agent signing:

The Carolina Panthers have signed former New York Jets wide receiver Wallace Wright to a contract. The Jets didn't tender Wright, so clearly they had decided to go in a different direction. Wright was one of the Jets top special team's players the last few years. The move to Charlotte is sort of a homecoming for the UNC product.
