I mean, Bryce Young is literally in an offense that is constructed to be about the deep ball. He just is bad at it and it goes against he how naturally plays/skill set. It's also why his completion % is garbage every year and why he leads the NFL in bad throw % since arriving. He doesn't fit the O scheme and what it asks. The offensive scheme requires it. It would be like putting rookie Cam in some small ball O and saying the stats back he likes doing that. It would have gone against everything he was at that time. It was his worst ball. But Bryce Young doesn't like it nor is he good at it. No one that watches Bryce Young play football would actually say he wants to go downfield with the ball and that his thing.....that some deep stat narrative that gets pushed. It's why he went 0-4 on basically easy deep shots Sunday. Big time throws can be a 5 yards slant. It's bologna. And PFF would award Bryce as the best deep passer going 1/4 over some dude chucking it for multiple scores. -

Its hilarious how 80-90% of the board was all in on letting Bryce sink or swim. But after one week of watching it, it's like holy poo save us from this. 😆
