Seeing him make those catches and miss the easy ones makes me nervous.

Lord knows we don't need him to develop into another Brandon Lloyd.

agreed. brandon lloyd sure could make the dynamic catch every once in a while but it was always in the midst of a bunch of of horrible misses of what should have been easy catches.

i don't want this Brandon L to have the same results as that other Brandon L.

5 drops? I think some of you are being a little hard on the guy. I saw one that was high right on the sidelines, that would have been a great catch, had he made it, so I don't count that as a drop. Also, that TD pass he " dropped" was not really a drop. If anybody has seen the snapshot of that play at the Observer, the DB clearly had his hand on the point of the ball, so that one too would have been a very very tough catch.

You can go back and read my posts from camp the first day he didnt catch a single ball thrown to him. Im sure he can get better but we dont need someone that will be great 3 years from now, we need him now. If we can get one more good not even great reciever then we can go along way this year. Maybe I am to hard on him but he gets paid to perform.

That was a dumb one handed catch. He used one arm to hold himself up and the other to catch the ball. Good catch though

Looked like if he had not held himself up with one hand, he would have gone to the ground too fast and not had a chance to catch the ball. Yes, very good catch.

Yeah, but the first day of camp don't mean anything right now. He will get better as the season goes along anyway. I'm very confident of that.

What? You don't expect a rookie to break every record ever recorded while solving world hunger? Stop being a homer! :P

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
