Well here's another question: If the Carolinas eventually got a MLB team, do you see yourself becoming an instant fan?

Or do you see there being a "bobcat" effect?

Not sure honestly...that is a good question. I would never waiver from being a Phillies fan but would probably go to alot of the games if a team came here. I dunno, but I would probably like them the first couple of years and then start hating them as their fanbase developed like I did with the Panthers.

I've been a Yankees fan ever since can remember. My first MLB game I saw was at Yankee Stadium when I was 5. Can't get much better than that.

Growing up in Durham I always followed the Braves since Durham was their single A affiliate. I saw alot of good players come though and make it up to the bigs. That's why most people I grew up with were Braves fans.

If the Carolinas were to ever get a MLB team, they would instantly become my #1 team, hands down. Yankees would be #2. I am very proud to be from NC and would feel obligated to pull for a team that represented my home. My hope would be the Carolinas team would be in the NL so there would be less conflict.

If they were an AL team I probably would probably pull for them over other AL teams. Since I'm a Braves fan, I doubt I could pull for them if they were and NL team.

Instant fan...would go crazy...

We should try and get the Royals (not to mention KC doesn't even have seats in the outfield)

Charlotte Royals...nice touch for the Queen City...

I love baseball...much more than basketball.

I'm right there with you. Instant fan.

I'm also liking the sound of the Charlotte Royals.

However, since I seriously doubt Charlotte will ever have a major league team, I'll continue to support the Braves through thick and thin.

A few years back there was talk of trying to put a MLB team in Kernersville. Right in the middle of Winston Salem Greensboro and High Point. Calling them the Piedmont ________. Haven't heard too much about that in awhile though.

My team, is why I'm used to disappointment.

    • I can say that I have defended Canales because I get that they are doing all they can to keep from looking like idiots for drafting Bryce, from the trade up to signing $150m guards to drafting XL and Brooks etc---nothing seems to work.  And Hiring Canales was part of the Bryce Young rehab program, so so he can't really decide to "move on."  That has to come from Morgan and Tepper. Personally, I think Bryce is due for an injury.  He is small, he is not thick, and he has been a LOT more healthy than most any other QB has who has endured so much pressure.  The thing that bothers me is this---Bryce really does not go through his progressions quickly.  He locks on to his presnap read and stays locked onto him for too long--he seems to fail to anticipate the WR/TE's positioning on the play before the cut--for example, if the WR is running a dig and the CB has his back to the inside of the field, he should be open for a second or less just after the cut.  He seems to wait until the cut has been made before deciding, then checking down quickly while moving in the pocket. OL:  There seems to be a lack of communication--is that on Mays?  Watch this team presnap--they seem a bit confused at times.   I can almost predict the success rate of the play by watching the center and QB before the snap.
    • Anyone else remember back in 2010 when Fox piloted having music under the in-game replays during one of Carolina's games? Not the commercial bumpers but the actual replay clips that the announcers would talk over. Pretty sure it was vs the 49ers. And it was terrible. Point being, Carolina continues being so bad that we get the networks trying things out during their games.
    • Is it bad I found this video more hilarious than pathetic? I am still laughing at that one play where half the people on the field ran into each other and Bryce still couldn't see Chuba wide open... Also laughing at Cade blocking nobody and somehow losing his cleat Man this offense is a poo show
