Where would you rather live--Greensboro or Charlotte?

Funny.. just spent the past year and a half in High Point. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Boring, rude, a little dirty in a lot of sections.. Greensboro didn't look much better either. Spent a year and a half trying to find a job with my just finished degree too. Word of warning: If you don't have 3-5 years of experience, not many there will hire you.

Now I've moved to Florida. I have beautiful weather, my apartment is on a golf course, so nice scenery, and I'm much happier with more things to do. You couldn't pay me to move back to the Triad. Point is, go where you can find work, even if it's out of state. In this economy, beggars can't be choosers, ya know?

I spent some time in Florida, and its one place I would never live unless I absolutely had to. Way too hot, and too many bugs, snakes, rats, and alligators. And no mountains.

I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and its far and away the best place to live in the US imo. Not to hot, not to cold, beautiful scenery, plenty to do etc... Only downsides are the cost and the need to fly for 5 hours if you want to travel outside the state.

Pft.. if I could afford it, I'd live in Hawaii in a heartbeat. That's why it's so expensive, lol. Otherwise, everybody who likes the tropical weather would be there ;)

lol. Everyone keeps saying "boring"; just what are you looking for in a city?

Depends on the degree, as well.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from an AACSB school with my BBA in Accounting. Was one of five outstanding graduates of the year, and was on a ton of student-body/faculty-appointed boards for my school. Admittedly, it wasn't a huge school, but it was a State University and not ITT or something. Between the economy and the fact that I took 2 and a half years off from working to go full-time, I came out at exactly the wrong time I guess. Finished my four-year degree in two and a half years (24 credit summers suck btw), so I could get a head start on getting a job for the TVM aspect.

Yeah.. I fail at life :(

you'll know if you ever live in a real one.

Depends on what you want. I lived in Honolulu, and there was plenty of nightlife and all the things that go with a large city. Wouldn't want and don't need that now. Wouldn't mind living in Hawaii, but I wouldn't live in Honolulu again, or any other similar sized city. I like Winston Salem just fine.

    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
    • poo I doubt any Bucs fan would trade Baker for BY either lol.
