Matt Moore's Biggest Weakness?

This, he just let the pressure get to him. The concussion didn't help either.

That kind of "pressure" is incredibly overrated.

And if you think the concussion he sustained at the very end of the 4th quarter influence the 3 interceptions in the end zone that happened before it, well, your experiencing some serious denial issues.

Matt sucked yesterday. It was his fault.

Don't make excuses for him, especially ridiculous ones like those.

Well said Vagrant, Matt Moore's biggest problem....us. As soon as Pickles was drafted everyone started calling for his head. Despite how well he played for us last year, we happily rolled on him in a heart beat for a kid from a big school with a big name. Despite not being able to win games in college we all assumed he could dominate in the NFL. (sounds silly doesn't it)

This is exactly what I was thinking when we drafted Jimmy and I threw my cup at the tv. It appears to me that we have most likely destroyed the confidence and most likely the career of a guy that did nothing but win games for us when called upon. Really sad if you ask me.

I hope Matt can come back and get his head right. If not I hope Jimmy comes in and lights it up and that someone else gives Matt a chance somewhere else.

Meet Drew Brees and Philip Rivers....

NFL players are not to be coddled, and petted. These are grown men, not toddlers.

If MM can't handle the pressure of a rookie QB nipping at his heels, how do you think the week leading up to the NFC Championship game would feel....much less the Super Bowl.

How do you know it was in the fourth quarter, its been said that it could have happened earlier in the game and he maybe even was double concuss after he went down in the fourth.

I don't see how losing one game, the first game of the season none the less, means that the season is lost and it is already gloomy. Show some support for our team, people!

Did you even watch the game yesterday??? I guess not, otherwise you wouldn't ask such a dumbass question.

Don't even come through here with that "support our team" bullsh*t. We all do support the Panthers but we aren't frigging blind, we've seen this kind of QB play before. I know, I know it was a team loss, and the OLine played like garbage, second half our defense was on the field getting picked apart but that doesn't excuse the fact that Moore played worse than a rookie and made some of the worst decisions I have EVER seen a QB make at any level.

I don't see a question in my last post. Did you even read my post??? I guess not, otherwise you wouldn't make a such a dumb as* remark.

Support our team "bullsh*t"? We have one bad game and the whole world is ending for you guys.... Give them a chance at least

"One bad game" doesn't sum up the Panthers performance yesterday or the current problems within the team and if you can't see that then I feel sorry for you. Must feel great to pump sunshine all season.

C'mon 34cpantherman28, lead us all in a cheer...

J E T S Jets Jets Je...

Matt's biggest weakness yesterday was the fact that he couldn't hold off 2 or 3 defensive linemen with his left hand and wait for receivers to get open.

There were plays that I thought he was telling the fat mama jokes about the OL in the huddle 'cause they were just letting guys fly by.

Exactly. People are criticizing his ability to "progress through his reads"...are you kidding me. With the play of our Oline, he was lucky to find one WR before he was dead.

bottom line....problem yesterday on offense is SQUARELY on the OLine.

I agree this was the largest problem and it snowballed into causing other problems to look worse than they may be. However Moore better not throw anymore damn floaters into 3+ man coverage.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
