Concerning our DLine

I know this sunday wasn't exactly our best football and we looked sloppy. But, I think we need to address our DT situation. I'm not concerned about our DE's soo much because there was plenty of times i saw them get around the corner but our DTs gave no push and allowed Eli to step up in the pocket and have all day to throw.

Our run defense looked good so I suggest send Hayden worthless butt packing and sign Damione Lewis to come in on passing downs where he was the most effective for us. I don't want to hear all this youth movement crap or JR being cheap when contracts aren't even guarunteed after week 1.

I thought the DL was one of the bright spots. I do want more pressure, but I think we're good with sliding DE's inside on passing downs like we did yesterday.

I just hated giving up those 3rd and longs. I didn't see much push if at all coming from our DTs.

Our run defense was great for most of the game.

I believe they had -2 yards rushing at the half...

We definitely need a better pass rush, because Godfrey is chasing butterflies out there.

Entire secondary had a rough game and I wanted to see more of Greg Hardy. If I could make a change to the DL it would be a DT that requires two blockers, I thought Tank was that guy. I was wrong.

we have 2 guys (hardy and brown) that are pretty much designated pass rushers....we should definitely use them more.

Exactly. Our secondary depends on our DL creating pressure. That's when they excel. At the very least try to pull some trades on some young DTs like we did with Leonard and Tyler. Our run D was stout and only really gave up a big run or two which inflated the Giants stats.

They're not going to let go of any picks, don't think JR would allow it to be honest.

We could be more creative with pre snap movement, stunts, twists and blitzes, buy none of that works if you can't cover.

Watching the Jets and Ravens game, really shows you how a defense should operate.

(the Ravens had scrubs all about their secondary and still dominated)

Our front 7 are great. It's Marshall that needs some extra practice. What a Douche

good at Run stuffing, lack of pass rush. sometimes though it was a matter of guys missing manning and him getting away.
