Hahaha Jerry, you're facing a potential blackout on Sunday

Other the fact he is stunting the Panthers back years by putting the NFL first in the upcoming CBA's?

I am actually starting to get that angst (anguish)...but WTH does it matter when you have OC's hung over in the booth, HC's giving 30 second PC's and now have some calling for the new and improved BOA which we all helped bail out with our tax dingwah?

Man, isn't it amazing how much the Huddle has changed in its feelings towards the owner? Just a couple of years ago, if you said the slightest negative thing about Jerry Richardson, you were slammed beyond belief by scores of Huddler white knights. Now the tide has finally turned against, not just the front office guys like Fox/Hurney, but even Richardson himself to the point where that whiteknightism is almost gone completely.

What'd you expect. The Saints, the damn Saints won one before us.... the fans want a championship. Steve Smith wants one, asks for help, and we sat and watched a couple good ass receivers land elsewhere

I feel ya, but I won't lay it all on the WR thing. The way Moore played on Sunday the Panthers coulda run Fitzgerald, Boldin, Hines Ward, Plaxico and Smith out there- it would not have mattered.

The city has spoiled Richardson honestly. If he knows we'll still show up while he puts an inferior product on the field, he'll keep doing it. We haven't won back to back years, think about that. Until this city stops going when the team is trash, it'll always be like this.

I have the solution to that, and your point crys for my take:

We need a friggin' "Katrina" in the middle of Charlotte...some serious human suffering, N.Tryon to be seen as a true battlezone, and the mayor off in some Caribbean resort snorting some serious coke whilst Geraldo and Katie scream for humanity.

Then we get FOX to broadcast a game in someone elses field and call US America's newest Team!

You know, we've all just assumed that gmonet's avatar picture has him on the left. What if we're wrong? What if he's the guy...on the right? Dun dun DUN!

I think I just poo my pants, and frankly wondered when YOU! - SMF, would get my identity...now Marty get me that phone number and tell the boys to be reday!

Still 900 tickets left to be sold, there has been virtually no sales in the past week.

Looks like J-Rich's chickens are coming home to roost.

...and that's what's going to cost him even more money with low ticket sales.

perfect example of people being overly sensetive, calling the original poster a dipshit because he has haha in the title. it is funny for the way jerry richardson treated the fans this offseason he deserves to not sell out any games.

So what's new? When someone says they love the owner losing money,.

I don't think 900 tickets will affect JR's balance sheet very much

All this Jerry Rich hate is interesting. Considering he is one of the most highly respected owners in the entire league by the owners and the players. I seriously doubt his penny pinching is to intentionally save HIM on his personal balance sheet. He is preparing for the future during a time of economic instability. All the haters seem to want to blame Richardson, blah blah. If you guys were so smart, how come y'all arn't in front offices somewhere? I'm not saying I am any more qualified than anyone, but there seems to be alot of Bit%hing in this thread. Everyone will be praising richardson in a few years when our year of being cost effective will result in years of consistent success. FTW.

;) I am buying the 900 and passing them out along the N.Tryon Days Inn for anyone interested in pissing on the 2nd deck!

Is that why all the club seats are empty by halftime? Cuz you're up there in the 500's starting a pissing parade on the khaki/oxford shirt and cocktail dress crowd? Shame the %$ on you!

there really isn't a reason we haven't addressed WR in the last 6 years.. It's a huge fuging frustration, but it's my only gripe...

everyone has something to say on why a player wouldn't fit.. it's obvious someone pulling the strings is just as foolish..

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
