Transplanted Fans Suck

Good point. Glad they help keep the games on TV. The worst ones I've had to deal with so far are the jackass Falcon fans who come up here in droves. There was these 2 chicks at the last home game against the Falcons in 2009 and all they did was run their mouths the entire time. After my 4th beer I decided someone needed to tell them to STFU. So I did and ended up hurting their feelins (although all I said was the exact same crap they said the entire game) and it was wonderful and we won on a Stewart long TD he ran right at our section.

??

Aren't all Panthers fans a transplanted fan? Typically a generation is 20 years. The Carolina Panthers have been around what, 12 years? So chances are, if you loved football and are older than 12 years old, you grew up rooting for the Redskins, Cowboys or maybe even the Dolphins or Falcons.

I was a Bengals fan until the COLTS moved to Indianapolis in 1984. However, because the COLTS are an AFC team, doesn't mean that I can't enjoy watching the Panthers play. Just don't expect me to root for the Panthers when they play the COLTS.

What I never can understand is all the people that wear other teams jerseys that we aren't even playing......I saw 3 people in Bears jerseys yesterday, a couple of Miami Dolphin jerseys and of course, as with every week, a few Steeler jerseys....oh and I saw an Atlanta Falcon tailgate tent.....WTF?

I've been to Lambeau field twice, the Geogia Dome and the Ravens stadium in Baltimore and i've never seen this oddity.

It's because there are no repercussions at our stadium.

I go to Bear's games sometimes and always see different team jerseys. Last time I went I saw a Chargers jersey, Colts jersey, Steelers Jersey, Cowboys jersey....and this was at Soldier Field

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
