Next years WR to watch this year.

I'm going to play the homer roll for a minute and throw out the name of Dwayne Harris, WR from ECU. He has the size, speed, skills, etc. to make it in the NFL. He fills our need at Punt Returner, can run block, and flat out can smoke it down the field. I have personally seen Carolina Scouts at ECU watching him the past couple of years. He's a Senior this year & I believe the Panthers will try to land him.

Id take them all...but watch & see. I rarely post on here - more fun to read the posts - so when I do post it's generally after watching something evolve over a period of time. In this case I have been watching this kid for three years & for what CAROLINA needs, he fits the bill to a T. I'm just saying.

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
