well so much debate on how Clausen looked today and yet everyone says the same thing. He looked bad in the first half, alot better in the 2nd. Gee thats how Palmer looked to. Anyone want to take a shot in the dark as to why? um it was raining? Bingo! Seriously people, the first half of the game was a mess, the ball was slippery, the field was slippery. The ball was slipping out of both qb's hands. When it finally stopped raining, both qb's magically got better. I dont think Clausen fumbles or Palmer throws 2 of those int's if it wasn't raining.

Blame it on the fact that we're a young inexperienced team that can only get better, but isn't there yet.

As for the Bengals, they just looked like poo and are old enough to know better. This game should have seriously been a blowout, rain or no rain.

The rain didn't bother the Pop Warner kid during the halftime game who, with 2 passes, had more passing yardage than Clausen did for the entire first half.
