5 Dopped Interceptions?

We had a chance to put a "dagger" in Palmer and the Bengals, if Gamble or Anderson could catch. If Gamble "picks" the short out... he scores, hell at least Godfrey can catch and he was doing some hitting also.

Our opponents have made us pay in TO ratio in all 3 games, we have many chances to make a game changing "pick" but ... Hey maybe move Jarrett to DB, I hear he has great hands.

correct me if I'm leaving a few out.. but there were 2 caught INTs and 3 dropped INTs..

and that's why they play on defense.. and we shouldn't have to depend on our defense to be the one making catches. that should happen primarily on the offensive side of the ball..

2 by Gamble, 2 by Anderson and 1 by Martin. Our opponents are making these plays, probably why they win? The one by Gamble could have been a game changer.

"It's very difficult to catch a wet football, not that that's any excuse," linebacker Jon Beason said. "They caught the ball. The receivers on our team caught the ball. We didn't. Five or six of them. It definitely would have helped the offense out, and we didn't get it done."

With the rookie qb it would be nice for our team do win a game in a different phase besides offense. Our D always keeps us right in there but damn they can straight win the game with that pick six, would be nice to see with our offense struggling mightly. Check Pittsburg if you want to see game changing defensive plays.

edit: beason thinking what im thinking

OK, I just watched the first half again:

1)1st Qtr. - 11:00 mark, Gamble drops a sure pick six.

2)1st Qtr. - 8:50 mark, S. Martin drops an int. that led to a a TD.

3)2nd Qtr. - 10:40 mark, Anderson drops a sure int.

4)2nd Qtr. - 1:13 mark, Anderson again, drop leads to a FG.

Thats 4 drops and clearly drops, that cost 10 points. Quit making excuses and make plays.

    • +the #Panthers were more interested in Thieneman than Sadiq +Carolina liked Freeling and Proctor +Idzik stayed up late with Canales to help with prepare for the Ravens offensive coordinator job a few years ago  +Person doesn’t see the scheme changing with Idzik calling plays  +Panthers didn’t see nickel as a priority  +Wheatley probs won’t play nickel  +Bryce Young extension should average 33 million a year https://x.com/josephperson/status/2054547028760248491?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
