I think Armanti can perform in our offense. The only thing you worry about, is his size. Being an NFL QB, you're gonna take some monster hits in and out of the pocket at times. Can his frame hold up to that is the question. He would need to bulk up to do it fulltime IMO. It would be cool to see him given the opportunity. This season is going nowhere, so there's really nothing to lose.

I agree, most players do bulk up after a year or two in the league though,so that should help.

I think it's a great idea, I really do. Just imagine if every busted play turned into Armanti getting 4+ yards, that would be a huge improvement.

I mean really, what can Armanti do that these other clowns haven't?

What horrible play have we yet to endure? I can't think of one.

Pains me to say it, but Freeman is better than both of them with less weapons.

I think it feels good to you to say it, because you're obviously high. Freeman is a good QB, but he's no VY or Vick.

Speaking of Vince, he beat the Girls in Jerry's World Sunday. When was the last time a Carolina Panther QB did that? Vince is 12-2 all time vs. NFC East teams. Sure would be nice to have a QB of that caliber taking snaps for us. We might actually could win a game.

new coaches are def gonna want there own qb.. while we might think jimmy has all the tools alot of teams oviously didnt which is why he fell 2 us. we might find ourselves coached by one of thoses coaches. with that said depending on if we have the number 1 pick u might see luck or locker in a panthers uniform. jimmy is just a second round pick and new coaching regimes havent been kind 2 second round picks at qb(see brady quinn)

Vince Young is good, but Freeman in his second year is as good if not better than Young as a total QB. I know you dont get it, from your narrow minded tunnel vision, but his moxy and throws are better than Young. Vick is not a proven winner in this league, no matter how your deranged mind tries to create it. And I am not a Vick hater, happy he has recovered but the Eagles have many playmakers on their offense, they even won last weekend with a white QB.

So there was a lot of dinking and dunking, but that’s the right thing to do in that situation.  Week 1 pass chart doesn’t look bad. He pushes the ball downfield more than several other quarterbacks I’ve watched. For some reason the huddle thinks other quarterbacks are constantly throwing 60 yard bombs. That is absolutely not the case. Some quarterbacks aren’t taking any deep shots at all.

      We keep referring to it as Over drafting him like he was really a first round draft pick. We traded up at the end of the first to get him in a deal with Buffalo so that we could grab him and get an extra year on his contract if needed. At the time that sounded like "If he really soars, we can get that fifth year extension automatically". It really probably meant, "We might need five years to really get him up to starting WR speed."  He was basically a second rounder with a potentially meaningless pick as well to pay for those rights. Still, I think that with him we are on the Kelvin Benjamin bubble right now... will he ever be more than just an athlete? Can he really learn to fight and compete for that ball? Can he learn professional routes? Can he handle the fame and more money than he's ever seen in his life? Can he handle all of the pressure a fanbase puts on him? Tough shoes to fill. Not sure I'd want to be in them. I hope he gets it all together soon. A lot, most draftees, can't. Good luck and God bless to the young man. He's got a lot of work to do in a very unforgiving workplace.

      This is the #1 reason I defend Bryce. Everyone around him is learning on the job, including him. But hey in 3 years we could have a talented offense that grew up together.
