Is he ok after that injury? Haven't heard any reports on him.

And how huge was that fumble. It probably cost us a W. If he wasn't injured on that play, he would have had rocks thrown at him on this board otday

Not trying to jump up and down on his d*ck or anything but he was so down his knee bounced off the turf. Even the commentators were like " hes clearly down there john .. but john fox is definitely gonna lose this challenge " like wtf is that?

I believe Fox was just trying to give our D little bit more rest. That ball was out before he hit the ground. Then he tried to scoop it up with his legs, but..

His knee hit much earlier than it originally seemed and likely was down before the ball popped out. Unfortunately the camera angles shown didn't make it indisputable or irrefutable or whatever term the NFL requires the overturning evidence to be.

I'm not sold on him as a PR, he's been doing alright I suppose though. However I do like him on defense even though he is no Asomugha.

he was probably down, but you couldn't see the ball so it didn't matter.

either way, yeah, not his fault someone blocked a guy into him. Funny, because he probably breaks that off for another 10-15 yards if he doesn't have that happen.

I like Captain, but I am curious why Goodson can't do punts too.

edit: darn it Kral, beat me to it. lol.

They are two very very different jobs.

Goodson probably lacks the lateral quickness to make the first gunner miss.

We went for a review to prevent Munnerlyn from having to be out for a play. If they'd have had to stop play for his injury, the rules would have kept him out for the following play. From the field position, we needed our nickel back or Brees would have shot one right into the endzone.

Lost the challenge, lost a time out, but got the opportunity for him to get back out there right away. Good call by the coach.

Glad he's alright. I'm cool with him as PR, and I'm really excited with Goodsen as our KR. I feel he'll return one everytime he gets his hands on it. Like it was said earlier; I do fear Captain getting injured, because we need him on D also. Other than that fear, he's done pretty good.

I don't blame him too much for that fumble. It was perfect timing for it to happen anyway we can't have anything go right. Just before the punt I said to myself, "he's going to fumble". Plus he got obliterated, a lot of people would have fumbled. Also his knee was down so he didn't really fumble anyway.
