Fickle fans and coaching changes

Because Crossman fixed his unit's issues while Trgo's got worse and worse as the season wore on and then capped it all off with the worst defensive performance we've seen in years.

How's that?

Crossman fixed his issues, or Crossman doesn't smell like a turd because of Jones and Lloyd?

How many blocked punts did the Panthers give up early this year?

This is the 4th season people have been asking for Turgovac to be fired.
this is true.

it would be hilarious to count the number of threads about getting rid of him there were in the old huddle.

i was more wanting to get rid of trgo than henning back in the day (not that i wanted henning to stay by any means).

trgo has been a target for years.

catch up.

ummmmm,,,,,,,,,, read my sig.

Did you know that we played 7 games against the top 5 offenses in the NFL, finished 5-2 in those games, and stayed in the top half of the league in scoring Defense?

Some people just want change for the sake of change. Is the offense so much better now than when Henning ran it because he was replaced? Or maybe it's because we invested in what was needed to get the running game on track, something we didn't do for him. Henning seems to have done well with what he had in Miami. Maybe, just maybe, something else is holding the offense back. Maybe , just maybe, it's the same thing that caused the D to drop in performance about midway through the year. Maybe, just maybe, the problems aren't the coordinators.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
