Am I a sociopath?

One of my co-workers mentioned that only a sociopath can completely seperate their personal lives from work. But I came in to work on the same day that my grandfather died like it was nothing. Mostly because it was. He wasn't an asshole or anything, and I had no reason to hate him. It just didn't affect me at all when I found out about it. And we were relatively close as far as grandparents go. Is there something wrong with me? Am I about to start going Dexter on people? This is somewhat distressing for me :/

I am completely different at work. Total professional. I keep my jokes to myself. People at work think I'm boring. I never told anyone at work anything about my personal life, political views, or feelings. Only thing they knew about me was that I'd go sailing on my vacations. Not sure why I did that, it was just easier for me not to have to explain my Huddle friends to the people I work with, I guess.

Yeah panthro brings up a good point. I mean, I fuging hated working at Wal-Mart. But when I was actually there I gave it 100% and had a completely different attitude. It's good that I'm not the only person like this though.

In closing, here's a gif showing how saltman's college days played out.

For most of the time I was there, I don't think so. But then, one day out of no where, I suddenly could not access the Lovely Ladies forum anymore. I get the feeling someone found out about it.

    • Except it wouldn't be Rodgers leading them on a postseason run, it would be the defense and he's there to not screw up their great games. Which is why..... This times a million. I didn't watch a ton of the Jets last year, but from what I did see, Rodgers himself didn't look like a bum, the team just struggled and was more than likely due to poor coaching on the whole.  The Steelers don't need MVP level Rodgers to win games, they just need him to be good enough to make some plays when it matters because the defense is keeping them in games every week regardless. In their 7 losses last season, the Steelers scored 10, 13, 17, 17, 17, 19, and 24... while giving up 19, 20, 24, 27, 27, 29, and 34 in those games.  With only marginally better offense last year, they probably end up winning a few more games too. They only scored over 27 points in 3 games last season. I think this is a great move by the Steelers and if Rodgers can stay healthy all year, will get them back into the playoffs and could make some noise if their defense is up to the normal level of a Steelers defense.
    • I hope we are as improved as a lot of fans are hoping. However, this time of year everyone in the league thinks they have improved. It will be interesting.
    • How many new starters will we have on defense?  That could be a good thing given how bad the D was last year, but it could also take some time for them to gel.
