Bradford vs Clausen

Hey Fellas, someone posted something on our board regarding Bradford vs Clausen and Sam going into the preseason as the starter. I thought I would take a moment to give y'all a word up. Bradford was not the starter going into the preseason. He didn't start until the third preseason game. He only started because Feeley hurt his hand. He didn't take any snaps with the ones until then. Spags was planning to bring him along slowly... until he showed that poise and accuracy. We were told he may not start until the fifth or sixth game. But, like I said, injury to the no.1 sped up the process. If y'all watch a full game of his you'll see this kid is a freakin' stud. I do think Jimmy will be a decent QB, but Bradford is going to be an elite one... and very soon. Good luck to ya...see ya in two weeks.

I am an OU fan, and live in Oklahoma still. I have been to several games, and I know what Sam Bradford can do.. he really will be an Elite QB. As a prospect, he reminds me of Peyton Manning with more athletic ability. Not saying he will have the perserverance or diligence in film study, but the talent is there. And my response to Clausen.. I do not feel like he will be a starting caliber QB.. Quarterbacks give you a very good indication of their potential in their first few starts.. and Clausen didn't show me any hope, and no 'flashes' of greatness in his first few starts. It's not a science, but it's a good indication. I would gladly take Andrew Luck in the first round if he is available, and trade Jimmy to a WCO for a 3rd rounder if we could get it.

Sam Bradford was taking snaps with the 1s from his very first practice. It is well documented on that thing called the internet. He's also had an offense designed around him.

It's funny that the Rams have beaten a few bad teams and all of the sudden their QB is elite. It just goes to show you how valued winning is in the NFL.

Colt McCoy had a "good" week last week even though his team lost 28-10. Believe me, 2 more weeks of "good" weeks at 28-10 and the rookie magic will wear off as fast as it has for Clausen.

Sorry Jpjr, you're wrong on all accounts. This offense is the same as last year... West Coast... that's why they brought in Feeley. Feeley was taking all the snaps with the ones until he was injured in the second preseason game. Also, the Rams didn't beat a few bad teams(although they did lose to a few bad teams), Washington and Seattle have winning records and before it's all said and done so will San Diego. All three will challenge for the top spot in their division. And...I never said Sammy B. is an elite QB... only that he will be... and very soon! As for McCoy, who knows, but right now he's lookin' like he can play in the NFL.
