Rams fans have been waiting so long to talk poo to someone, anyone, I can hardly blame them for flying off the handle so easily.

That's funny, because I came on this board, and originally posted this:

"Hoping for a nice game this weekend. I am a displaced Ram's fan, so I will be making the trip up to St. Louis from Huntsville, Alabama. It's a big day for us as they will be retiring Isaac Bruce's jersey before the game. You have a nice forum here. More reasonable than most opposing forums I visit. Here's to hoping for no injuries and a fun game. I wish you well the rest of the season. I never developed a hatred for Carolina like I did other teams in the old NFC west. I hope the Panthers win...but I mean what would you expect coming on a Panthers forum and ask who you think will win?

If the Panthers can keep the turnovers down on offense, and control the clock and keep Bradford and Jackson off the field, they will have a chance to win. If Gettis has another good game, we connect with deep passes and keep your defense off balance we will win...but if any team does that to anyone they usually win....

Your offense scared me earlier in the year, but since you guys are injuried on the WR side of the ball, we are in the same boat. Doesn't mean someone can't step up and make a big game. Your defense is really underrated and will put you guys in a situation to win the game. Overall I hope its a good one.

So, to answer BRADJACK ...................

Our O-line will be 1 game better. Rams just won't be able to stack the box because they'll be burned by our WR's (amazing to say that, I know!) which leads to Stewart and Goodson having their way (even if Williams dresses, I don't think he'll play). Jackson will also, however, be running well too. So it comes down to WR's and Special Teams. I consider QB play & defense a draw.

So our Special Team play wins a close one for the Panthers. 24 - 20

Panthers offense continues to grow and flourish. Jackson gashes us but we still come out with the win.

Right now, I think many Panther fans are just crossing their fingers, wondering to themselves if this is the week our run game actually takes off. I know I am and everyone I know in my neighborhood is.

Matt Moore was able to light it up last week despite our run game averaging just over 2ypc. If our run game is actually "on", do the Rams have a defense capable of shutting it down AND shutting down Gettis, Smith and LaFell?

lets not get carried away. If the run game gets going can the Rams contain it and Steve Smith? Probably not.

Gettis and LaFell are still in the stages where they can shut themselves down.

If it's stack the box, double Smith, I've to believe that if Gettis is wide open, he can make some catches. Even if we don't really know what kind of player he will be during his career.
