The idiocy of cowboy fans....

Zod

Tonight I overheard a guy explain how the cowboys are still an elite team but just with a bad head coach. He then turned the conversation to movies and proclaimed the rob zombie remake of Halloween is far superior than the original.

I bet he is a tea party member also.

theyre all idiots.

my friend put this on his fb status today.

Put this on your status if you know or are related to someone who suffers

from being a Dallas Cowboys fan. Being a Cowboys fan is a real disorder

and should be taken seriously. There is still no known cure for DCF and

sympathy does not help. But we can raise awareness. 90% of Cowboys fans

won't repost this because they don't know how to copy and paste

I had a drunk moronic cowboy fan sitting behind me at one of our games with Dallas a few years ago. Spent the whole game yelling "Parcells, throw the flea flicker", and he was drunk, and everytime he stood up, he would spill his beer on my back. Never been so tempted in my life to report a fan to security or better yet, punch him in the mouth (but I didn't). And the worst part was that we lost, and I had to hear his drunk, fat, ignorant ass talking trash.

Sad thing is they ARE. They were top two in offense and defense not too long ago. Keeping that nimrod on as coach screwed up what could have been a special season, and I am not a Cowboys fan. They are very talented, though.

They are a very undisciplined team. Guess that is the coaches fault, although I suspect the owner has a lot to do with it.

They have good talent at the skill positions, which the casual fan mistakes as talent.

Their o line is crap, their secondary is a joke and they have no consistent pass rush to speak of.

I figured they'd be 8-8 at the beginning of the year, but now they may not get there.

Redundant.

Loved the story from the radio a few years back about some cardinal fans that won a bet with a Cowboy fan. The idiot gave them a blank check as far as what to do if he lost, and boy did they fill that check out.

They made him dress up as a cardinal - not a Cardinals player - a cardinal. Then they sent him out in the woods with a five minute head start, then hunted him with paintball guns.

Their only mistake? Not taking video

Did you hear about the 6 year old kid they found wandering on the street? The cop tried to take him home to his mom and dad but the kid said that they both beat him! Then the cop asked the kid "where do you wanna go"?? The kid said, take me to the Dallas Cowboys!! They don't beat anybody!:lol:

i've been contemplating kicking a cowboys fan off her walker for quite some time. she is in downtown wilmington every sunday, and nc born and raised. i argued with her for a minute, but quickly determined her intelligence is to low to comprehend pulling for her home team. all she kept talking about was watching staubach.

haha after my friend posted that Cowboys Fan disorder thing the other day, his friend commented on it, he was a cowboys fan. started talkin poo about the panthers, it ended up being like a 30 comment status of me and this guy just going back and forth arguing about how they suck and how "We would never reach the level their team is at, weve won so many championships, HOF players", blah blah blah

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
