Luckiest Coach

We stuck being fans of a team with bad ownership with no clear coach on the horizon.

You're not stuck. You don't have to like the direction of the team, but nothing/nobody forces you to lay claim to being a Panther fan. That's your own free will and you're free to use it to swap allegiance to another team. Kbye

No. The luckiest coach will be the one that takes Fox's job here. We have an abundance of talent on both sides of the ball. This season is just another season they get more experience under their belt.

It would not surprise me if our new HC takes us to the playoffs his first year here.

Our owner won't pay for players so why do you think he is going to spend big money on a coach? Fox is not that bad. With good ownership and a good QB any coach looks pretty good. Look at Belichick. Sucked as the Cleveland head coach with no QB, and ownership who did not want to spend money just like our teams ownership. Then wins 3 Superbowls in another city. Only 11 current coaches have ever made it to the big game, and ours was one of them. He will get a HC job within 2 seasons if he is not resigned by Jerry.

Name me one season besides this one where JR was cheap. Go ahead, I'll wait.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
