I buy stuff on-line all the time, for 2 reasons.

1) If I get free or low shipping costs, I pay through UPromise and build up cash.

2) It saves me from haivng to run around everywhere. (I buy and sell a lot of stuff over ebay.)

The craziest thing I ever bought on-line?

Dirt!

If you shop on-line you have to sign up for 2 places.

When you go thru them to shop, you can get between 1% -16% of your purchase price back in an on-line account. You can either use this money and put it into a 529 College account for you or your kids, or let it accumulate and withdraw it when you want. AND if you register all your credit cards and Debit cards you get cash back for shopping at Harris Teeter, Walgreens and other stores on certain items. Also be sure to register your MVP card at Food Lion, VIC card at Harris Teeter, CVS card etc. If you dine out, and use your registered credit/debit card, you can get 10%-20% of your mail price credited to your account. (If you dine at one of the many restaraunts on their list.)
