Anybody got a report from practice?

I'd be interested in this dude if I really thought he gave us a better chance to win.

Unfortunately for him, he'll probably spend more time getting run out of the pocket, throwing out of bounds, and laying on the field, than passing.

I guess for a more relevant question, we could ask what his scrambling skill set is.

Had a chance to see practice today as i was jerking off out my 15th story window at my office. Heres what i saw:

We ran a draw play up the middle on 3rd and 33 for a pickup of 3 yards.

The punter got plenty of good reps in

The offensve line spent the entire practice playing the nintendo wii on the sidelines to work on their conditioning as there was really no need for them to play with the offense since those great fellas dont block on gameday anyhow.

Fox was updating his resume on dipshits.com.

They pulled seifert out of his formaldehyde jar and he joined the team for practice and left them with only these words. "God damn these boys suck". Not sure if he was referring to our cutting edge offensive play calling (up the middle and short pass to slowest receiver for pickup of 1 yard), or our overall pathetic piece of poo coaching ownership philosophy as a whole.

I saw Hurney on the phone with george romero asking if we can bring back a zombie fred lane as we are nearly out of RB options.

Saw deangelo packing his bags and taking a dump in his helmet with a smile on his face as he seemed very happy to be leaving to free agency this year. (but dont worry im really sure richardson will reach in his pockets and pay the man in the offseason! HAHAHAHAHAHA)

saw chris gamble collecting his top 10 highest paid corners in the league check even though he is not anywhere near top 50.

Saw delhomme drive by laughing his ass off saying he would rather sit the bench in cleveland than rot another season in this poo pit they somehow call a franchise.

I think that covered all i saw at practice today while pleasuring myself 15 stores above. If anything else comes to mind ill post up.

I think I'm finally going to make my move for a PSL next year, aftermarket for them should be great!

Should go for about 10 bucks each at the 50 yard line as you will only be watching one professional team take the field and a bunch of other guys just collecting checks so they can go buy more PS3 games.

Practice is closed to the public...right? Surely they don't have open practice sessions.

Right, except the practice field is bordered by a public sidewalk and they don't mind you standing right up next to the fence and peeking inbetween the black tarps they put up to cover the fence (which are see-through anyways).

don't be embarrassed. Today I wore a Panther sweatshirt and a Panther cap (neither of which I have worn yet this season) to grab a sammy from Jimmy Johns.

just to fvck with people

damn, I actually stopped wearing my fleet of jerseys, shirts, and hats....

I do wear a panthers jersey when I go to the sports book but I think i'm going start wearing my Vick jersey

That is just stupid. Practices should be closed to everyone but the team and maybe some media.

If we're not careful, someone's going to see all of our really imaginative playcalling and tip off the other teams.

I think it is just evidence of a loose run ship. No way you should let just anyone walk up and scout your practice.

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
