Who should go? What to address?....

Who should be gone from the team this offseason and what positions should we address?

Coaches that should be gone:

Fox (No need to explain)

Davidson (Same as above)

Rip (I believe is mostly responsible for the quick decline of Moore and the suckitude of Clausen)

Magazu (Haven't seen as fast a decline of every o-lineman in team history.)

Players that should be gone:

- Gross (More like Jordan Steussie)

- Bernadeau (Became one of our worse lineman and eventually replaced)

- G.Williams (Has looked bad and not shown anything)

- Schwartz (if they address the OL big time - otherwise he's alright)

- Moore/Pike (if they address QB and whether or not they value Moore over Pike - Starting Pierre over Pike doesn't put Pike in a positive light)

- Stewart (if they get a good offer - otherwise keep him)

- Smith (just like Stewart)

- King (Nothing against him, just Rosario has more play making ability and Barnidge has more potential. King is just known for blocking and thats it.)

- Godfrey (Only thing he's good at is tackling. He's constantly out of position and getting beat or just looking like he has no idea what in the hell he's doing)

- Marshall (Remember that new contract he wanted in the offseason? lol. Keeps getting beat and wiffs on many tackles. I still have him labeled as a "lil bitch" - a tag I gave him at the start of the season.)

- Hayden (Shows flashes but thats it. Otherwise he gets man handled)

- Ed Johnson (for not beating out Hayden)

What they should address:

1. OL (Pick up at least 4 or 5 offensive linemen through draft and FA)

2. DB (Godfrey and Marshall are terrible. Draft a CB and pick up a vet at Safety to compete with Pugh.)

3. QB (Pick up another QB through the draft or FA to compete with Clausen just incase he really does suck. I want Luck in the draft.)

4. DT (RBs are running up the gut with success. Hayden is not the answer.)

My top HC candidates:

1. Frazier

2. Harbaugh

3. McDermott

After that it's between a pool of Cowher, Gruden, Zimmer, Rivera, and Grimm

    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
    • It was always a matter of time with Cam’s playing style and a shorter shelf life than passers that protect themselves. I suppose Cam could have still been playing in 2028 ten years after the hit took place, but he would need to have evolved as a quarterback and become more of a passer than the dual threat maestro he was. It’s sad because it makes us think of what could have been, but I do feel it was always a matter of time until all the hits took their toll.
