Are you still having fun???

Honestly I feel that if I can get to the rest of the home games this year and the team keeps fighting, I will still have fun.

Coming to the game and cheering for our young future stars while booing St. Pierre was a good time.

Gettis's TD was magical. Just magical. It feels so good to hear and feel the stadium come alive with joy from the panthers.

Watching that on TV it would just feel like "ah finally they get a break, I will make a sandwich in celebration". In the stadium it felt like a valiant charge of the light brigade.

The light hearted smack talk is fun as well. I don't feel heavy smack talking for a 1-9 team and honestly none of the fans I've encountered feel threatened enough to smack talk a 1-9 team. Most Ravens fans were classy or happy drunk, so it's pretty nice.

I still am annoyed by some guy making a crow noise as the saints game. I have no idea why he was doing that and it was annoying as fug.

Is the season still fun to you? If so what keeps your spirits up?

ALCOHOL IS A GIVEN SO IT DOESN'T COUNT

Ive said this before, but I watch the games, and get depressed, but I love football....so I stayed entertained by watching other games. Its good because I have no rooting interest for either team, and I just enjoy the game itself. That and keeping up w/ the players on my fantasy team. At the same time, i still get pissed when I sit back and actually think about whats going on.

Heck yeah it is still fun. I grew up in NC and have loved football from an early age. Do you know how often I wished we had a team. Heck, we didn't even have great college ball around here. I mean we had some great players but no great teams.

I used to think how great it would be to have a team here. The day we got one... I became a fan for life.

Through thick and thin - I still like to think of the Panthers as my team.

Honestly, not very much. I still go to every game and will continue to be a fan but this team is the most boring football team I've ever seen and I can't say that I'm enjoying the games much. The only good side is that I've accepted that this year is lost and I don't get mad because I think the team is underachieving like I normally would.

Hell, I'm still having fun....It was a bitter pill early on, but now the die is cast and I know the franchise is in for a major shake up. Matt Moore didn't pan out, Fox's tenure has reached the conclusion and we hit an injury streak that would stop playoff teams in their tracks. Usually those factors would cripple the morale of a team, but I don't see that with our guys. Still playing hard, still playing with heart and not giving up on the coach. Honestly, the fact that the team hasn't given up speaks volumes to me. Lets face it, nobody would blame them except for one thing, giving up on the coach means they gave up on the fans. That hasn't happened. I'll continue to watch and hope for the future with this bunch....there are some special players still on this roster and many young players that can fill the shoes of those that have departed.

Go Panthers

In the same boat.

The tailgate is the only thing that makes going to the games worthwhile this year. The difference between the quality of the product and the price is sickening and nearly criminal

I haven't been able to make a game this year due to school (as has been the case since the Arizona playoff game, which I stayed till the clock hit 0:00). But, I want to make one before season's end, hopefully over Christmas break. But, watching the games has been ok on TV. The first 4 were just terrible. But each week it gets easier and easier. As has been said, seeing Gettis make plays and seeing Goodson busting off some nice runs makes you feel good. I just like seeing the young, undeveloped, under-coached team we have with all the potential and upside in the world. Panther fan for life, through thick and thin, and not ashamed of it in the least.

Having said that, I still find myself cussing profusely at the thought of the comparison between the 2008 team and this team.

Nope. This is the worst season of football I've ever witness. No fun whatsoever.

Sucks going into every game knowing your about to lose and get that a** whipped. We're also a very boring team. I get excited when we make plays, but that excitement quickly goes away when I look at the score and I see that we're down 13-37 or 3-21. It also sucks knowing that once the other team scores 14 points, well thats pretty much game. We're not competitive at all. The constant jokes and clowning doesnt help either...

    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
    • I mean, our TE room does suck but we had other pressing needs and no surefire upgrades in the draft. I was surprised at how many TEs went in the first three rounds. I think most everyone was. You want a guy who projects at least as a guy who has the potential ceiling to be a starter in those rounds and I didn't see 11 of those in this draft. Off the top of my head, I think that's how many TEs went in the first three rounds. It was in that range. That's roughly 10% of the overall picks. Definitely did NOT see that coming with this TE class.
